As an Intern at Metro Pavers, you will get a hands-on learning experience while earning a wage. The intent of the Internship is to allow those currently in a Construction Management program, or anyone thinking this might be the career for them to gain experience in the industry. Our hope is that at the end of the program Interns will apply for a permanent, full-time position with Metro Pavers.
Some of the tasks being taught include:
- Equipment operation
- Reading plans
- Pre-paving set up
- Concrete Finishing
- Handwork
- 3D Leica technology
To be eligible for the Internship candidates must be at least 18 years of age before the first day of the program and be authorized to work in the United States. Recent graduates and college students are encouraged to apply.
