The Plant Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance for all of
Metro Ready Mix, LC, permanent and portable plant, as well as maintenance for the Iowa City location.
This position requires complete compliance with all OSHA, DOT and Metro Ready Mix, LC regulations
and standard operating procedures.
This position is responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of the plants and
equipment. This includes mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumonic equipment. Responsibilities also
include plant inspections, ordering parts and inventory.
The Plant Maintenance Technician is required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license with an
insurable driving record.
